Passaic County Lottery Player Wins $50K

Two tickets in New Jersey won $50,000 in the latest Powerball drawing. The jackpot now sites at $253 million.

HEWITT, NJ — A Passaic County lottery player was one of two winners in the latest Powerball lottery drawing.

A ticket sold at Jackpocket, 355 Warwick Tpke., in Hewitt, matched four of the five white balls, and the Powerball, drawn in Wednesday's drawing. This secured a third-tier prize of $50,ooo for the winner.

The winning numbers for the Wednesday, May 26, drawing were: 02, 08, 21, 34, and 62. The Red Power Ball number was 16. The Multiplier number was 02.

Over 31,000 New Jersey players took home an estimated $161,541 in prizes ranging from $4 to $200, and more could be won.

The Powerball jackpot now sits at $253,000,000 for the next drawing to be held Saturday at 10:59 p.m.
