WAYNE, NJ — The Passaic River is at flood stage.

The river's height at the Pine Brook flood gauge was 19.3 feet Tuesday morning, and 19.47 feet Tuesday night, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's flood hydrograph shows. Flood stage for the river is 19 feet there. The Pine Brook gauge is located downstream from Wayne in Morris County.

The river's height at Pine Brook is forecast to crest at about 19.5 feet Wednesday morning, according to the hydrograph.

The river's height at the Two Bridges' flood gauge Tuesday night was 9.1 feet, slightly higher than the "minor" flood stage height of 9 feet.

The National Weather Service issued a flood warning for the Passaic River at Pine Brook.
