River Dell's David Estevez Named Offensive Player Of The Year: Report

Estevez had 362 yards and two touchdowns in the team's state-title winning championship game against Northern Valley.

ORADELL, N.J. — In what was probably the Golden Hawks' most pivotal moment of the season, and maybe of his career, David Estevez rose to the occasion.

Estevez had 362 yards and two touchdowns in the Golden Hawks' North 1, Group 3 sectional final win against Northern Valley-Old Tappan.

Estevez was named The Record's offensive player of the year recently, despite missing two games with injuries and not even playing complete games because the team blew out their opponents.
