Road Paving In Wayne: See What Streets Were Repaired
Nearly 20 streets were targeted for improvement under this year's road resurfacing program in Wayne.
WAYNE, NJ – Work to repave several streets in Wayne as part of the township’s annual road resurfacing program is nearly complete.
This year, officials approved spending $2 million to mill and pave 19 streets, according to Mayor Christopher Vergano.
According to the township, the following roads are included in the scope of work:

- Fair Ridge Place
- Fargo Place
- Highland Terrace
- Joseph Place
- Kievit Road
- Langdale Road
- Marc Road
- Maybrook Court
- Orange Place
- Overlook Ave
- Piermont Terrace
- Pines Lake Drive
- Pines Lake Drive East
- Ryerson Avenue
- Raymar Drive
- Seneca Trail
- Sequoia Place
- Winonah Ave
Webster Drive, in the area of Coventry Road, is also undergoing improvements, however the cost is being covered by a $520,000 municipal aid grant from the New Jersey Department of Transportation Division of Local Aid and Economic Development.
Milling and paving of three county roads in Wayne was also included this year as part of the county's road program - Hamburg Turnpike West (in the area of Church Lane to the Preakness Center), Paulison Avenue (between Clifton Boulevard and Route 46) and Alps Road (between Maple Avenue to Nellis Avenue).
