Services For North Jersey Pastor Killed In Plane Crash Set
Rev. Andrew John Topp was killed when the plane he was piloting crashed after taking off from Greenwood Lake Airport Tuesday.

Services for Rev. Andrew John Topp, the pilot killed in a West Milford plane crash, are this weekend, his daughter confirmed.
Visitation with Topp's family and a memorial service will be Sunday at the First Reformed Church in Boonton, the church Topp was pastor of for 20 years, Erica Topp Fischer-Kaslander said. Visitation is 1 to 4 p.m.; a memorial service will follow.
In addition to pastoring First Reformed, Topp was founder and president of the International Humanitarian Aid Foundation.

"He was a humanitarian before anything else, and he was a hard-working father for all six of his children," Fischer-Kaslander previously said. "He was a neighbor to everyone regardless of how far away he lived. He worked hard, in all aspects of life."
Topp was testing the plane out for a relief mission to Haiti later on this month when it crashed. His foundation started several orphanages and schools in Haiti before and after the devastating earthquake there in 2010. Topp flew to Haiti once a month.
