A winter storm brought over 6 inches of snow to Wayne on Sunday. Here's what to expect next.
WAYNE, NJ — A winter storm brought over 7 inches of snow in parts of Passaic County on Sunday, and the National Weather Service predicts more to come on Tuesday.
The latest snowfall totals from the NWS's New York, New York office show 6.5 inches in Wayne from the storm.
As of 4:55 p.m. Sunday, Hawthorne received the most snow in the county with 7.3 inches.

The NWS said the forecasted storm Tuesday is likely to be "quick moving" and bring a "light accumulating snowfall" to the county.
Winter weather advisories could be issued in northeast New Jersey on Monday, officials said, with snow possibly starting late Monday night.
The storm is most likely to start at 6 a.m. and last until 6 p.m. Tuesday, tapering off during the evening hours.
Travel could be hazardous as snow starts accumulating, with morning and evening commutes affected Tuesday.
Accumulating snow is expected on Tuesday. The snow should be lighter than what we have seen recently, but still impact the morning commute.
