Stephen Rinaldo, 56, Of Wayne, Loved Caring For Others

WAYNE, N.J. — Stephen Rinaldo, 56, of Wayne, died Friday.

He was "honest, sincere, hardworking, dedicated, protective, and caring, and loving," his obituary from Moore's Home For Funerals states.

Rinaldo enjoyed spending time with his mother, cooking, and tending to his garden and chickens.

"He truly cherished the opportunity to care for one another," the obituary states.

He was predeceased by his father, Vincent, sister, Theresa Colligan, aunt Victoria Rinaldo, grandparents, and great-niece Adriana.

He is survived by his mother, Dorothy; sisters Christine Melione, and her husband Tony; Mariane Rinaldo, Lisa DeFilippis, and her husband, Gary, Denise Van Toi, and her husband, Nick; brother-in-law John Colligan; brothers James, Robert, and his wife, Jennifer; and nieces and nephews Anthony, Ann Marie, Garry Jr., Gina, Nicole, Vincent, Megan, Shannon, Nicholas, Joseph, Liliana; and great-niece Juliana.

Visiting hours will be at Moore's Home for Funerals Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

A funeral service will be at the funeral home Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. and a funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Valley R.C. Church, 630 Valley Road, in Wayne.

Interment will follow at Christ the King Cemetery in Franklin Lakes.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tenn. 38105.
