Most people know the Terhunes from Albert Payson’s dog stories. But few people know the rest of this family’s historic and artistic achievements. Carol D’Alessandro, Wayne Township’s Museums Coordinator, and Kathryn George, Archivist for the Terhune Sunnybank Memorial, will bring artifacts, photos and a wealth of interesting stories to highlight this famous local family.
Free and open to the public, the program will be held at the Wayne Public Library’s meeting rooms. Doors open at 12:00 and the audience is invited to bring their own lunches, while coffee, tea and cookies will be provided. The one-hour program begins at 12:30 pm.
