WAYNE, NJ — Eric D. Berninger, 13, of Wayne, died Sunday.
He was a student at the CPNJ Horizon School in Livingston. He loved the beach, books, and Mickey Mouse, his obituary states.
He was predeceased by his grandfather, David Berninger.

He is survived by his parents, David and Juliet Berninger; siblings Nicholas and Luke Berninger and Deanna Mendez; grandparents Robert Passero and his wife Phyllis and Lucinda; great-grandmother Joan; and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation with the family is Wednesday, today, from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Browning-Forshay Funeral Home, 557 Lafayette Ave., in Hawthorne. A funeral service will be private.
