WAYNE, NJ - Chick-fil-A has pushed back the opening of its Wayne Towne Center restaurant to Dec. 5.

Located at 88 Willowbrook Boulevard, the new restaurant was initially scheduled to open on Nov. 21, but on Friday morning a spokeswoman for the chain said “construction constraints that are out of our control” have caused the change in date.

It will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Saturday and closed on Sundays.

The 5,300-square-foot restaurant features 116 seats inside, community tables with recycled Coca-Cola chandeliers and a two-story, indoor children’s playground. There is also additional outdoor seating for eight and four designated parking spots for guests to receive their orders placed through the Chick-fil-A app, the chain said. It does not include a drive-thru, however.

The shopping plaza where the chicken chain is located is adjacent to Willowbrook Mall and is also home to two other restaurants, Shake Shack and Cava.
