WAYNE, NJ — An electrical fire resulted in a loss of power at Kings Inn Hotel Tuesday night, sending an electrical worker and one hotel guest to the hospital, and forcing the remaining guests to relocate.

According to Wayne Police, on Tuesday at approximately 8 p.m., a fire started in an electrical panel as a worker attempted repairs.

That worker suffered burns, and was transported to Saint Joseph's Regional Medical Center in Paterson. A hotel guest was also transported to the hospital after suffering minor injuries, police said, but all other hotel guests were uninjured.
