Wayne Joins Fight Against Cancer with Relay for Life Fundraiser

The Relay for Life of Wayne, set for May 30, raises money for the American Cancer Society.

The time to join the fight against cancer is now.

Come spring, hundreds of Wayne community members will walk in memory of a loved one, in honor of someone fighting and in support of finding a cure for cancer. Now is the time to get involved.

Relay for Life of Wayne will kick off on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at Wayne Valley High School and is open to all members of the community who want to join the fight. Opening ceremonies will begin at 4 p.m. and the event will conclude at 6 a.m. Sunday morning. Residents and members of the community are welcome to come and walk the track, design a Luminaria bag to honor and remember loved ones, and donate to the cause.
