Wayne Schools Go Virtual Ahead Of Winter Weather
The district has shifted to remote learning Thursday ahead of a winter storm expected to bring snow to the region.
WAYNE, NJ — Wayne Public Schools students will shift to virtual learning Thursday ahead of a winter storm expected to bring snow to the region.
Snow could start this morning, according to the National Weather Service, but periods of light snow and a wintry mix could continue into Friday.
Four to eight inches are expected over the two-day period.
The winter conditions — including a "light glaze of ice" — could create a tricky commute Friday morning as the storm affects visibility and road conditions.
