Wayne Women's Fall Volleyball League Registration Open

Wayne Parks & Recreation is sponsoring a women's volleyball league which begins play in early September.

WAYNE, NJ — Looking to get active in Wayne? The Parks and Recreation department has you covered with a fall volleyball league, but registration is closing soon.

The league begins on Sept. 8 and runs through Oct. 29. However, a reply to let the department know you have a group interested is due by Friday. To do so, email mcardlek@waynetownship.com.

Registration is due by Aug. 28, and the fee per team is $40.

Team members do not need to reside in Wayne to play, and roster sizes range from 8 to 15 players per team.

Each team will be scheduled for eight matches, or one to two matches per week, which will be played at Captain Kilroy Park at Tom's Lake.

Matches are played at 6:30 or 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings.
