Wayne's Kristina Langan Is Collegiate Pole Vaulting Champion

She had the 9th best pole vaulting jump in NCAA Division III competition this year

WAYNE, NJ — A township native is a collegiate pole vaulting champion.

Ramapo College's Kristina Langan cleared a height of 3.77 meters at the New Jersey Athletic Conference Indoor Track and Field Championship Monday in Staten Island, New York.

That championship-winning jump was the ninth best pole vaulting jump in NCAA Division III competition this season, the best in the conference, and the third best indoor jump on Ramapo's all-time list.

Langan won three consecutive meets this season.

Langan is a Wayne Hills High School alumnus and a freshman at Ramapo.
