Willowbrook Mall Buffalo Wild Wings Opens Sept. 23

WAYNE, NJ – Mark your calendar: Buffalo Wild Wings’ first location in Passaic County is set to open Monday.

A ribbon cutting ceremony is planned for 10:30 a.m. followed by a grand opening of the sports bar at 11 a.m. The celebration continues for the rest of the week, with samplings, games and giveaways.

The new restaurant is located at Willowbrook Mall and features a new look for the sports bar brand – the first redesign for the franchise since 2012.

The 7,500-square-foot restaurant is located next to a courtyard across from The Cheesecake Factory and can accommodate 321 patrons inside, and 50 outside on a patio-like setting.

The interior includes a more dominant bar that anchors the dining area, VIP areas, flexible seating areas and stadium- like A/V technologies with LED modular screens, according to the chain.

Two new features of the redesign include:

• An “MVP Room,” which contains a space for private viewing and gaming. The area – which is for patrons 21 or older - offers gaming consoles, several TV screens and self-pour beer taps.
• The Dugout, created to be an extension of the waiting area, features comfortable lounge seating and bleachers made from recycled basketball courts. It's positioned near the bar area, convenient for guests to grab a drink and enjoy the games while they wait.

Within New Jersey, there are 14 Buffalo Wild Wings restaurants, mostly in the central and southern parts of the state. The closest Buffalo Wild Wings location to Wayne is in Parsippany on Route 46.
