All Teens Can Now Get COVID-19 Vaccine At South Jersey Mega-Site

GLOUCESTER COUNTY, NJ — Children ages 12 to 15 can begin getting the COVID-19 vaccine at New Jersey's vaccination mega-site at the Rowan College of South Jersey, Gloucester County officials announced on Friday.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommended the use of Pfizer's COVID-19 vaccine in children ages 12-15 on Wednesday.

Anyone between the ages of 12 and 17 years old should be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian and/or bring a legibly signed copy of the COVID-19 Vaccine Consent Form. Proof of birthday, such as a Birth Certificate, will also be required.

Parents or legal guardian must fill out the form on behalf of the minor. Parents must provide a legible signature and phone number. If they are not present at the time of vaccination, they will be called by a nurse at the Gloucester County Mega Vaccination Site.

Rowan College of South Jersey is located at 1400 Tanyard Road in Sewell. The vaccination center is open from 8 a.m. to noon, and from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Walk-ins are now being accepted.
