Award-Winning Author to Speak at RCGC April 14

AWARD-WINNING AUTHOR MARTY ESSEN TO SPEAK AT RCGC

Deptford Twp. – Rowan College at Gloucester County’s (RCGC) Division of Student Life is hosting award-winning author Marty Essen on Thursday, April, 14 from 11-12:30 p.m. in the Instructional Center, room 430. Essen will be presenting his high-energy, multi-media show, Around the World in 90 Minutes.

Around the World in 90 Minutes features amazing animal facts, humorous stories and stunning photos Essen has acquired while traveling the world for his first book, Cool Creatures, Hot Planet: Exploring the Seven Continents. He began presenting this show in bookstores as part of his first book tour and has gone on to perform in colleges, museums and nature centers across the country.

Essen is an Amazon #1 Best-Selling Author who has won multiple awards for travel and essay writing. His newest book, Endangered Edens: Exploring the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, Costa Rica, the Everglades, and Puerto Rico was published in January 2016 and is an Amazon #1 Hot New Release in five different categories. Essen will be signing copies after the show.
