Deptford Applebee's To Celebrate National Cheeseburger Day
Applebee's restaurants throughout South Jersey have a special offer to mark this "holiday" on Wednesday, Sept. 18.
DEPTFORD, NJ — Wednesday, Sept. 18 likely ranks among key "holidays" for cheeseburger aficionados — as it is National Cheeseburger Day.
Foodie lore attributes the sandwich's beginnings to a teen, who created the juicy burger-option in 1926 while working as a fry cook at his father's Pasadena, California, sandwich shop, "The Rite Spot."
Applebee’s restaurants across South Jersey, including Deptford, are celebrating by offering guests its Classic Bacon Cheeseburger with endless fries for just $6.99. Only the Classic Bacon Cheeseburger is part of this deal.
