Free Rabies Clinic In Gloucester County Nov. 2
The Gloucester County Animal Shelter will host a free rabies clinic on Saturday, Nov. 2.
The Gloucester County Animal Shelter will host a free rabies clinic on Saturday, Nov. 2, county officials announced. There will be two sessions. Free rabies shots for cats will take place from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Free rabies shots for dogs will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
The shots will take place at the Gloucester County Government Services Building, 1200 North Delsea Drive in Clayton.
“Rabies cases in the wild animal population within our county have been high and it makes it that much more important that pets are protected,” Gloucester County Freeholder Director Robert M. Damminger said. “We want our residents to take advantage of the free rabies clinics we offer in order to ensure the safety of their animals should they ever come in contact with infected animals.”

“Vaccinating our pets is just as important as vaccinating ourselves,” Freeholder Deputy Director Frank J. DiMarco, liaison to the Gloucester County Animal Shelter, said. “By keeping your pet up to date on its vaccines, you can help protect your pet and other animals around your pet from diseases.”
