Gloucester County Animal Shelter Taking Donations For Cats

GLOUCESTER COUNTY, NJ — The Gloucester County Animal Shelter’s goal is to ensure that all the animals in its shelter get adopted. However, while they are awaiting adoption, the shelter must do what it can to make sure they are being taken care of. To that end, the shelter is asking for donations.
“The kittens that come to the shelter need round-the-clock-care in order to be adopted into love homes,” Gloucester County Freeholder Director Robert M. Damminger said.
The shelter is need of kitten formula, dry food, wet food, blankets and digital scales to help get the kittens ready for adoption, officials said. Donations can be sent or dropped off at the shelter directly at 1200 N. Delsea Drive in Clayton.

Animals are still adoptable at a discounted price. The shelter is still discounting adoption fees for the animals at the shelter. Animals 6-years-old and younger will have their adoption fees reduced to $35. Dogs and cats 6 years and older will have their adoption fees completely waived.
