Gloucester County Mega-Site Surpasses 100K Senior Vaccines
The site at 1400 Tanyard Road in Sewell has vaccinated 100,180 seniors as of the end of the day on Monday.
GLOUCESTER COUNTY, NJ — New Jersey’s COVID-19 Vaccination Mega-Site in Gloucester County surpassed 100,000 senior vaccinations on Monday, officials announced.
The site at 1400 Tanyard Road in Sewell has vaccinated 100,180 seniors as of the end of the day on Monday, according to Gloucester County officials.
“Our seniors are our most vulnerable, so we know that vaccinations are top priority for them and the site,” Gloucester County Commissioner Director Robert M. Damminger said. “We’ve done hours of outreach and phone calls through Gloucester County’s and the State’s call center, and together we vaccinated over 100,000 seniors.”

The Mega-Site has implemented the use of a second building for seniors, so they do not have to wait in line. Seniors are now able to receive their vaccine at the Business and Corporate Center on the campus of Rowan College of South Jersey.

The Gloucester County Mega Site is now accepting walk-ins. Seniors do not have to be scheduled to receive the vaccine. Anyone 16 years old and older can show up to the Gloucester County Mega Site anytime between 8 a.m. and noon, and 2 p.m. and 6 p.m.
“The Mega-Site is now allowing walk-ins,” Gloucester County Commissioner Jim Jefferson said. “With eligibility opening, the site is committed to vaccinating every individual who wants the vaccine.”

The New Jersey Vaccination Call Center is open to pre-register individuals, answer questions, and provide contact information for sites. To reach the Vaccination Call Center dial 855-568-0545.
