Gloucester County officials are reminding veterans about the services the county offers for veterans who are in need of assistance.

GLOUCESTER COUNTY, NJ — Gloucester County officials are reminding veterans about the services the county offers for veterans who are in need of assistance as it honors the 3,000 veterans who are interred at the Gloucester County Veterans Cemetery.

The cemetery played host to Gloucester County’s Memorial Day Ceremony on Monday.

“Each year we witness volunteers placing flags on the grave sites of each veteran at the cemetery. It is a small but powerful way to honor those who have served,” Gloucester County Commissioner Dan Christy, liaison to the Office of Veteran’s Affairs, said.
