Gloucester County Spring Festival Set For April 24
The Spring Festival will include free family fun like children's crafts and games, farm animals, crafters and vendors, among other events.
GLOUCESTER COUNTY, NJ — Gloucester County’s annual Spring Festival will take place April 24 at Red Bank Battlefield, 100 Hessian Avenue in National Park.
“Take a step back in time and experience the history Gloucester County has to offer,” Gloucester County Commissioner Director Robert M. Damminger said. “We cannot wait to safely hold Spring Fest this year. It’s the best way to welcome Spring and a preview to all our summer programming.”
The Spring Festival will include free family fun like children’s crafts and games, farm animals, crafters, vendors, colonial demonstrators, spinning, weaving and hearth cooking.

Masks are required while attending. All visitors must abide by social distancing recommendations. The following is the schedule for the day’s events:
- Noon – Clothes, Clothes, Clothes- How does flax turn into a linen apron? How does wool become a pair of trousers? Explore Colonial Clothing.
- 1 p.m. – Sheep Shearing
- 2 p.m. – Sheep Sheering
- 2:30 p.m. – Get the Buzz on Bees
- 3 p.m. – Uncovering Myths- Peel back the layers of myth and legend which have overtaken the facts of colonial history.
