A 23-year-old Willow Grove man is behind bars for allegedly fatally shooting to death a Williamstown man he lured to Philadelphia through a Craiglist ad, according to 6ABC.
Thomas Coffee, of the 1900 block of Lukens Avenue in Upper Moreland Township, was arrested Sunday by the Philadelphia Police Department for murder and related offenses stemming from the shooting death of Daniel Cooke, 27, according to The Philadelphia Inquirer.
Coffee, who had been arrested in 2009 for burglary and twice thereafter for armed robbery, according to the Inquirer, allegedly used a Craigslist ad for the sale of an all-terrain vehicle to lure Cooke to the West Oak Lane section of Philadelphia Friday around 11 p.m.
Cooke sustained gunshots on the left side of his face and was pronounced dead at 11:23 p.m. Friday. Authorities said Cooke also was robbed during the altercation with Coffee, NBC10 reported.
The victim was accompanied by his girlfriend and a friend, who were not injured during the shooting.
