Helping children: A CEO inspires family, co-workers to join in

Patti Winegar dedicates countless hours to charitable work to help children; her family and colleagues have joined her causes.

Work colleagues and family joined Patti Winegar in charitable work with the youth of Chicago and children in Guatemala, but the CEO of SPM Marketing said it’s not really about what they have done. “It isn’t about what I’m giving, but what I’m getting, quite frankly. And when you see an impact, it’s really exciting and inspiring.”

She's the latest guest on the Here For Good podcast which features conversations led by Dennis Pullin, President and CEO of Virtua Health.

Winegar, who shared her experience with multiple charitable organizations that serve youth, as well as her efforts to support research on diabetes, leads a marketing agency focused on healthcare. SPM helped Virtua with its brand launch in October.

Their wide-ranging discussion also included the changing face of health care marketing and an important lesson her mother provided.
