Isaiah Loatman Wanted in Gloucester County on Warrant

The Millville resident failed to appear in state Superior Court in Woodbury, authorities said. He was charged in connection with a stabbing in Woodbury.

Isaiah Loatman, 18, of the 400 block of East Avenue, Millville, is wanted by the Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office on a warrant. 

Loatman failed to appear in state Superior Court in Woodbury for a pre-arraignment interview on charges of aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, authorities said.

Loatman is 5 feet, 4 inches tall, weighs 130 pounds and has brown eyes and black hair. He has a mole on his back, scars on his abdomen and near his left eye, and two tattoos: a star on his left forearm and "RP Joyce" on his right forearm.

On Oct. 24, 2012, a Woodbury police officer reported to Underwood-Memorial Hospital for a report of a stabbing. The victim said he was stabbed in the back outside his Curtis Street apartment during a fight with a man he believed was jealous over a mutual female friend. Based on a description, Loatman was identified as the assailant. After further investigation, complaints were signed against Loatman on Nov. 20, 2012.

A Gloucester County grand jury on Feb. 13, 2012 indicted Loatman on a third-degree charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon with bodily injury; a fourth-degree count of unlawful possession of a weapon (a knife); and a third-degree count of possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.
