Kevin Kendig Jr. Wanted in Gloucester County on Warrant

Kevin Kendig Jr., 32, whose last known residence is the 200 block of Ogden Road in the Thorofare section of West Deptford, is wanted by the Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office on a warrant. 

Kendig failed to appear in state Superior Court in Woodbury on Feb. 25, 2013 for an arraignment/status conference on burglary, theft and conspiracy charges, prosecutors said. 

Kendig is 5 feet, 9 inches tall, weighs 210 pounds and has hazel eyes and brown hair. He has tattoos on his left and right arms and hands. 

On May 8, 2012 a Franklin police officer responded to a silent perimeter alarm at Crown Pipe Line, 3345 Delsea Drive. Alarms were installed after recent copper wire thefts from the business. The officer saw two masked individuals inside the fenced yard using bolt cutters to break locks on work trucks, entering several vehicles and removing spools of wire. The two fled through a hole cut in the fence and one–not Kendig–was apprehended. Outside the fence, 19 rolls of copper wire were found. Cargo body locks on six trucks had been cut.  A subsequent investigation led to the arrest later the same day of Kendig and another suspect at a Vineland mobile home park.

A Gloucester County grand on Dec. 5, 2012 indicted Kendig on a charge of burglary on dates between Nov. 22, 2011, and Jan. 8, 2012, and third-degree theft and third-degree conspiracy to commit burglary.
