Meet Coca: Pit Bull Terrier Is Up For Adoption

Coca is a pit bull terrier up for adoption in Gloucester County.

CLAYTON, NJ — It's International Dog Day, and while many folks have four-legged pals to share their homes, Patch is kicking off an effort we hope you'll join: We want to help 1,000 dogs in New Jersey and Pennsylvania find their forever homes.

As part of that effort, we will be highlighting dogs that currently are waiting in shelters for someone to adopt them. Dogs like Coca. He's currently at the Gloucester County Animal Shelter, and he's ready to find his forever home.

"Coca is a 4-year-old male, neutered Pit Bull Terrier boy looking for a new home," according to the shelter. "He is great with other dogs, but would be happiest in a home without cats. He’s housebroken, loves to go for walks and playing in the yard. He is currently up to date on his shots. He would love to be the newest member of someone’s family."
