New West Deptford Program Helps Residents Battling Addiction

Residents can seek help at the West Deptford Police Department every Thursday under the new "Straight to Treatment" program.

WEST DEPTFORD, NJ — A new program that allows residents battling addiction to be connected with a program to assist them in overcoming that addiction has launched in West Deptford, police announced.

Under the “Straight to Treatment” program, residents can seek help at the West Deptford Police Department every Thursday from noon to 4 p.m. They will be able to meet with a specialist and discuss options for a treatment program, police said.

They can seek help with any substance use disorder. They can have their questions answered without any stigma being attached to their predicament. The program is completely voluntary.
