Road Resurfacing Project In West Deptford Begins Thursday
A portion of Mantua Grove Road in West Deptford will be resurfaced.
WEST DEPTFORD, NJ - A portion of Mantua Grove Road in West Deptford will be resurfaced beginning Thursday, April 11, Gloucester County officials announced on Tuesday.
Resurfacing will take place from Kings Highway (C.R. 551) to the Railroad Tracks, 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. over the course of two nights.
During construction, traffic will flow in one direction. Roads will also be detoured, and that detour will be posted by the contractor. Residents will have access to their driveways at all times.

The project, which falls under the purview of Gloucester County's 2019 Highway Overlay Program, consists of milling two inches of the existing asphalt and overlaying the roadway with two inches of a new asphalt surface course.
In addition to the resurfacing any inlet grates not meeting NJDOT standards, inlet openings not meeting NJ Storm Water Management Guidelines, concrete sidewalk ramps that do not meet ADA standards, and the replacement of traffic striping when needed will be addressed.
