South Jersey COVID-19 Vaccine Mega-Site Closes Due To Storm
Five of the state's COVID-19 vaccination mega-sites have canceled appointments for the rest of the day due to the storm.
GLOUCESTER COUNTY, NJ — The state’s COVID-19 vaccination “mega-site” at Rowan College of South Jersey is postponing the rest of the appointments that were scheduled for Thursday due to inclement weather, county officials announced.
Appointments that are canceled on Thursday will be rescheduled for Friday, Saturday or Sunday. They will be rescheduled for the same time they were scheduled for on Thursday.
Gov. Phil Murphy also said four other vaccine mega-centers closed on Thursday: Morris, Middlesex, Burlington and Bergen.

Burlington appointments will be rescheduled for Friday while the others will be rescheduled for Saturday.
Residents must bring proof they had an appointment on Thursday to have their appointment filled, officials said.

All second dose appointments will continue to be honored between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. daily. Residents must arrive on or after the date on the back of the CDC card provided when they received their first dose.
Appointments were postponed as up to 2 inches of snow were reported due to the storm in Gloucester County on Thursday. The National Weather Service is keeping track of snow totals, which can be found below for Gloucester County:

- West Deptford Twp 2.0 in
- Williamstown 2.0 in
- Sewell 1.8 in
- 2 W Pitman 0.3 in

The vaccination site at Rowan College of South Jersey is located at 1400 Tanyard Road in Sewell. For more information, contact the Gloucester County Covid-19 Vaccine Hotline at 856-218-4142. The hotline is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. to answer any questions.
The New Jersey Vaccination Call Center is open to pre-register individuals, answer questions, and provide contact information for sites.
Due to the recent snow storm, the state’s call center is not currently scheduling appointments until the storm's impact is assessed. To reach the Vaccination Call Center dial 855-568-0545.
