Celebrate Father’s Day
The Red Bank Battlefield hosts a Father’s Day Baseball Demonstration from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday. Come learn about America’s favorite pastime. Baseball exists as a uniquely American endeavor, and is not only an important part of American history, but also an important part of American culture and society. Through its historical influence, and representation of culture, baseball continues to make an imprint on American society. Join us for an old fashion game of baseball and sit back and enjoy the beautiful scenery at the Red Bank Battlefield. Autumn Lake Winery in Williamstown will host a Father’s Day Festival at Autumn Lake, noon to 5 p.m. Admission is $15 and includes a wine flight, complimentary glass, live entertainment all in a relaxing farm setting. They will have food, vendors and live music. Food will be available for purchase. Their friend Big Papa Jai will be there with smoking his famous BBQ. The menu will include BBQ chicken, brisket, pulled pork and several sides. Dan’s Waffles will also be there serving their famous chicken and waffles as well as dessert waffles and ice cream. The Gloucester County DREAM Park hosts many of the top-rated horse shows in the northeast at the NJ Pinto Horse & Open Show, 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. Admission for spectators is free. Free canoes and kayaks will be available at the Scotland Run Park beach area Saturdays and Sundays only, from June 12 through Sept. 5. The boats are available from 9 a.m. through 3 p.m. Boats are on a first come, first served basis. All children, 14 years and younger, must be accompanied by an adult. The Sip Into Summer Wine Festival is June 26 and 27, noon to 5 p.m. at the Gloucester County Fairgrounds in Mullica Hill.
