West Deptford Earns Top Seed In Wrestling Playoffs

WEST DEPTFORD, NJ - The road to the NJSIAA South Jersey Group 2 high school wrestling championship goes through West Deptford.

West Deptford (19-4) is the No. 1 seed in the tournament, according to nj.com. The Eagles will host No. 8 Sterling (10-7) in the quarterfinals on Monday, Feb. 4, 7 p.m.

The winner will face the winner of the match between No. 4 Clayton and No. 5 Barnegat in the semifinals on Feb. 6. The championship match is set for Feb. 8.

West Deptford has a win over Sterling already this season, as the Eagles defeated the Knights, 47-21, on Jan. 25. To view the full schedules for West Deptford and Sterling, visit nj.com.
