West Deptford Football Reaches SJ Group 2 Final
The West Deptford Eagles defeated the Cedar Creek Pirates, 28 to 20, in the South Jersey Group 2 semifinals on Friday night.
WEST DEPTFORD, NJ -- The top-seeded West Deptford Eagles are in the South Jersey Group 2 Final for the fourth consecutive season, and they're looking to win their second straight title. Only Haddonfield stands between West Deptford and back-to-back crowns, and they will meet Dec. 3 at Rowan University.
The Eagles defeated Cedar Creek on Friday night, 28 to 20, in the semifinal round. Halfback Kenny Lim had a sensational first half, getting three touchdowns and 169 yards on just 15 touches.
