West Deptford Football Team Advances To Sectional Final

WEST DEPTFORD, NJ — Tyshawn Bookman did it all for the West Deptford High School football team Friday night. Now, the Eagles are playing for a South Jersey title.
The top-seeded Eagles defeated No. 5 Delran, 56-17, in the semifinals of the NJSIAA South Jersey Group 2 playoffs, according to Gridiron New Jersey. West Deptford hosts No. 3 Hillside in the sectional final on Friday, Nov. 22, 6 p.m.
Bookman rushed for three touchdowns offensively and returned an interception 32 yards for a defensive score in the win, the Courier Post reports. Bookman scored on runs of 20, 55 and 30 yards.

Aaron Graeber scored on runs of 1 and 41 yards, according to nj.com. Gavin Shields had a 6-yard rushing touchdown, and Tion Cherry scored from 14 yards out in the win.
