West Deptford Football Team Routs Barnegat, Advances In Playoffs
The Eagles took another step toward a South Jersey title with a win over Barnegat.
WEST DEPTFORD, NJ — Ken Lim was responsible for four touchdowns as the West Deptford High School football team eased into the next round of the playoffs.
The third-seeded Eagles advanced with a 53-7 rout of No. 6 Barnegat in the first round of the NJSIAA South Jersey Group 2 playoffs, according to nj.com. Lim scored his first three touchdowns — two rushing and one receiving — in the first quarter. He then returned the second half kickoff 60 yards for a score.
West Deptford will visit No. 2 Camden in the semifinals on Saturday, Nov. 10, 3 p.m. The championship game is set for Nov. 16. To view the full bracket, visit nj.com.
