West Deptford Girls Basketball Team Qualifies For Playoffs
West Deptford faces Haddon Heights in a rematch of an overtime game the teams played on Jan. 31, according to nj.com.
WEST DEPTFORD, NJ — The West Deptford High School girls basketball team will begin its quest for the NJSIAA South Jersey Group 2 title on the road, according to nj.com.
West Deptford is the No. 8 seed in the tournament and will host No. 9 Haddon Heights in the first round on Monday, Feb. 25, 5 p.m. The winner will play the winner of the game between top-seeded Sterling and No. 16 Delran in the quarterfinals on Feb. 27.
The semifinals are scheduled for March 1, and the championship game is set for March 5.

West Deptford (14-8) defeated Haddon Heights, 52-49 in overtime, on Jan. 31, according to nj.com. Haddon Heights was down seven heading into the fourth quarter of that game, but made a comeback. The Eagles slowed that comeback with strong defense, then scored 10 points in overtime to come away with the win.
