West Deptford High School Football Team Knocked Out Of Playoffs

One week after scoring 53 points, the Eagles couldn't muster more than a touchdown in a loss to Camden.

WEST DEPTFORD, NJ — A week after posting 53 points in its playoff opener, the West Deptford High School football team failed to score more than a touchdown against Camden.

As a result, the third-seeded Eagles’ quest for an NJSIAA South Jersey Group 2 title came to an end in a 12-7 defeat at the hands of No. 2 Camden, according to nj.com. Camden will face top-seeded Haddonfield in the final.

Camden scored the first two touchdowns before Ken Lim found the end zone on a 6-yard run for West Deptford. Both defenses kept the opposing offense in the board in the second half.
