West Deptford will begin its quest for a South Jersey Group 2 title on Thursday.
WEST DEPTFORD, NJ - The West Deptford High School softball team will begin its quest for a championship on the road on Thursday.
West Deptford is the No. 14 seed in the NJSIAA South Jersey Group 2 playoffs, according to nj.com., according to nj.com. It will visit No. 3 Haddon Heights in the first round on May 16.
The winner will play the winner of the game between No. 6 Sterling and No. 11 Barnegat in the quarterfinals on May 20. The semifinals are set for May 23, and the championship game will take place on May 28.

West Deptford is 3-12 heading into the playoffs, while Haddon Heights is 11-6, according to nj.com.
