WEST DEPTFORD, NJ — Two roads in West Deptford are closed due to downed trees and wires in the wake of a storm that wreaked havoc across the region on Tuesday.

A tree is close to falling and is being supported by another tree on Carter Avenue, West Deptford police said Tuesday afternoon.

The entire intersection is closed on Carter Ave at Walnut Avenue in the Oakview section of town. No pedestrian or cars are permitted as the police department coordinates a response to resolve the problem.

Hessian Avenue is closed from the I-295 overpass to Burkett Avenue due to a broken pole. PSE&G has been notified, and there may be a delayed response due to the storm, police said.
