Atlee Is Westfield's Pet Of The Week

WESTFIELD, NJ — Meet Atlee! He has been chosen as Westfield Patch's Pet Of The Week.

"We adopted Atlee from St. Hubert's Animal Welfare Center one month ago. He is now 12 weeks old. Atlee is very curious about the world around him and he is in constant motion until he simply conks out and takes a nap wherever he happens to be.

Atlee loves to participate in all of our activities. He likes to chew our toothbrushes, watch the toilet flush, wet his paws in the faucet, type on any computer left available, eat from any plate left unattended, but my favorite story is the day he decided to chew on the soap dispenser. I will never forget the bubbles cascading out of his tiny mouth as he looked at me to help him. Atlee has brought joy and laughter into our house."

Participating in the Pet of the Week happenings is simple: submit your nomination by emailing alexis.tarrazi@patch.com with subject line "Westfield Pet Of The Week." Be sure to include a photograph or two of your pet, a paragraph about what makes him or her so great, and the town you're from.

You can choose to include your name, but you don't need to. Then just keep an eye out for a photo of your pet on the Patch!

The photo can be of a present pet, or it can be a baby picture of the adult pet you're so proud of today.
