Congregation Beth Israel to Hold Community Seder

Scotch Plains synagogue will hold a community seder on the first night of Passover.

Congregation Beth Israel in Scotch Plains will hold a community Seder on the first night of Passover, Friday, April 19, at 6:30 p.m. The Seder is open to both members and non-members of the synagogue.

Rabbi Howard Tilman of Congregation Beth Israel will lead the family-friendly seder.

Congregation Beth Israel is an egalitarian Conservative synagogue, serving Scotch Plains, Fanwood, Westfield and surrounding towns. The community Seder will be strictly kosher for Passover.

Congregation Beth Israel strives to create an accessible environment for all. The synagogue has been recognized as an ABLE Awarded Congregation by the Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest for its commitment to inclusion and accommodation for all its members and guests.

Adults cost $40 per person and children (2 – 12 years old) cost $20 each. Children under two years of age can attend for free.
