COVID-19 touches Westfield Memorial Library staff family member

Son-in-law of Wesfield Library staff member passes away from COVID-19

Recently one of the library's employees, Pedro Castro contracted COVID-19. Also living with him were his daughter Evelyn Rosario, son-in-law Luis Rosario, and their two daughters Emma Belle, 2, and Ella Belle, 1.

In addition to Pedro, all members of the household also contracted the disease. Pedro recovered and was able to return to the library. Unfortunately, his son-in-law Luis was not as fortunate, and he recently passed away.

Library users have most likely seen Pedro, cleaning and maintaining the facility. Regardless of whether patrons have seen him or know him, they can surely understand how tragic this situation is for Pedro's family.
