Downtown Westfield 5K & Pizza Extravaganza Set For July 25

WESTFIELD, NJ — The 17th annual Downtown Westfield 5K & Pizza Extravaganza, one of the largest non-corporate 5K races in the state, will be held on July 25.

Last year, the 5K attracted 2,496 runners and more than 6,000 spectators for an evening of running, pizza, prizes, DJ entertainment and live music.

The race is sponsored by the Downtown Westfield Corporation and will begin at 7 p.m. Cost is $35 or $32 for USATF members. Online pre-registration only.

The race is USATF certified and awards will be given to the top three overall male and female, top three male and female in each age group and top three male and female Westfield residents.

Any net proceeds from the Downtown Westfield 5K will be earmarked for downtown Westfield streetscape improvements such as new street lights, sidewalks, crosswalks, landscaping, and more.
