​ Lantern Hill Celebrates Pride Month

On Thursday, June 24, Lantern Hill, an Erickson Senior Living-developed and managed community in New Providence, New Jersey, celebrated Pride Month with a festive Pride Parade on campus in honor and support of the LGBTQA+ community.

More than 100 residents and staff members paraded through Lantern Hill’s beautiful campus wearing brightly colored outfits and waving rainbow flags or cheered from sidewalks and balconies along the route. Participants also enjoyed rainbow cupcakes and light refreshments at the party.

The Parade was sponsored by Lantern Hill’s Diversity, Inclusion, & Belonging Committee, which works to build awareness, increase understanding and promote a community of respect and caring that embraces the richness of Lantern Hill’s diverse residents and employees.

Kevin, a member of the Dining Services team and the Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging Committee, welcomed staff and residents to the festivities.

“To see you all taking the time out of your day to don your colors and join us to celebrate pride means so much to us and all our staff who identify as part of the part of the LGBTQ+ community. It is by your side that we will continue to spread messages of love and inclusion here at Lantern Hill,” said Kevin.
