MADISON, NJ — Several area runners were among the more than 50,000 to tackle one of most popular road races in the world — the 2019 New York City Marathon on Sunday. And we have their times (see below).

The 49th TCS New York City Marathon course runs 26.2 miles through the five boroughs of New York City.

"I can tell you this was the most organized and well run marathon I’ve run," Marino told Patch, noting that this was her fifth marathon but first NYC one. "And the spectators were best in class. They lined the streets almost every mile and actively cheered the runners on, which was very inspirational."
