Multiple Westfield Roads To Be Paved
Here is a look at what roads will be paved Thursday and what construction projects are planned in the near future in Westfield.
WESTFIELD, NJ — Multiple roads in Westfield will be closed for paving on Thursday. Drivers should plan for delays and prepare accordingly, Westfield Police announced.
The following road closures include:
- Fairacres between Wells and Lenox
- S. Chestnut between E. Broad and Lenox
- Benson between S. Chestnut and Lenox
Looking ahead more road construction projects will be conducted by town and Union County. Here is what you can expect:

On or about Aug. 27: The drainage infrastructure installation will begin in the area of Sherman/Coolidge/Stevens, and continue ADA ramp installations in the areas of East Grove Street and Sycamore Street.
North Avenue (East Broad Street to Townline): Union County has indicated that improvements to North Avenue will begin on or about Aug. 24, from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m., for approximately 10 days.
