WESTFIELD, NJ — Meet Pepper! She has been chosen as New Providence-Berkeley Heights Patch's Pet Of The Week. Nominate your pet for Westfield's Pet Of The Week!

"This is Pepper. She is a Toy Havanese (half Bichon, half Maltese) and she is 8 years old. She weighs just under 5 lbs and is the sweetest most loving dog ever.

Pepper loves to travel whether it’s a car ride, or by train or plane. She’ll sit on your lap and fall asleep. She’s super smart and loves when people, especially young kids, rub her back or tummy.

Whenever you need some love, pepper will lick your face and snuggle in to make your day. We love our sweet pepper!"

Do you think your pet should be Westfield's Pet of the Week?

Participating in the Pet of the Week happenings is simple: submit your nomination by emailing alexis.tarrazi@patch.com. Be sure to include a photograph or two of your pet, a paragraph about what makes him or her so great, and the part of town you're from. You can choose to include your name, but you don't need to. Then just keep an eye out for a photo of your pet on the Patch!

The photo can be of a present pet, or it can be a baby picture of the adult pet you're so proud of today.
