Snow Advisory For Westfield; See Local Photographer's Storm Shots

WESTFIELD, NJ — The Westfield police have issued an advisory warning that the Thursday morning commute could be slippery due to snow. "Please use caution and allow for extra travel time as road conditions could become slippery during the morning commute," they warned.

The National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory for the Westfield area for 10 p.m. Wednesday through 10 a.m. Thursday, with 2 to 3 inches predicted. But they're also predicting more in the next week. particularly on Tuesday.

The NWS has forecast a little snow and sleet on Saturday and Sunday. Longer-range forecasts call for snow next Tuesday and perhaps a storm to round out next week. Read more: NJ Weather: Winter Weather Advisory In 16 NJ Counties
